However, the best deal on these batteries is in the package of TWO. Don't bother with the 3.0Amp Hour models, the slightly lower price isn't worth it in my opinion. The 3.5Amp Hour is the best battery Panasonic made for the older style 15.6V drills. Don't make the mistake I did and buy two singles, instead get the discount by buying two at a time in one package. These are very good quality batteries.
I don't think so. Not likely. It's cheaper to buy a brand new printer than to replace all the ink. Panasonic EY6432GQKW 15.6-Volt NiMH 1/2-Inch Cordless Drill/Driver Kit EDIT: I found a value set which saves you $50 for two ($109 vs $160 separately): Panasonic 15.6 Volt 3.5Ah Ni-MH 2-Pack Battery--Value Pack So a new charger costs $100Panasonic EY0110B 7.2-Volt to 24-Volt Universal Charger for Ni-MH, Ni-Cd Batteries, a battery 2-pack costs $109, which I guess means they lose money on the drill itself. That is only $25 more than the cost of a 2-pack battery set alone. For an extra $25 and a little hassle you get a new drill, new charger, new batteries, and 1 yr warranty. Here, the batteries cost about $80 from Amazon, so two for $160. Why not sell the old drill and buy a new drill instead.
It still may be worth it to sell the old one and buy a brand new replacement WITH a 1 year warranty. Tough call. Drills suffer the same problem as HP color ink-jet printers. Yet, a brand new drill only costs $193, and it comes with a new charger. Even if you sold the old one for $75 on an auction site that rhymes with D-bay, you would at most pay $135 (after auction fees) for a brand new one.
Both my batteries had been recalled by Panasonic and I needed a battery quick to keep the cordless drill operational while they sent me the replacements. Amazon had the best price I could find and shipped promptly.
